Bringing more than 45 years of combined research experience with and focus on customers’ attitudes and decision-making in the retail platform, Drs. Mary Ann Eastlick and Sherry Lotz will discuss the “insatiable” desires and wants of tomorrow’s retail customer. They will also present some of the innovative and intriguing ways in which today’s retailers are planning to meet the challenging demands of their future customer.
In addition to serving as professors in Retailing and Consumer Sciences at The University of Arizona, Drs. Mary Ann Eastlick and Sherry Lotz are Managing Partners of Customer Insights Research & Consulting, LLC, a firm that investigates customers' behaviors in the retail and services space and consults on retail strategy development. Mary Ann has taught Omnichannel Retailing, Retailing Strategy, and Merchandising Strategy and Control. In July, she is retiring from the UA and will focus entirely on research projects managed by Customer Insights. Sherry currently teaches Consumer Behavior, Global Retailing, and Services Retailing. Both have conducted extensive consumer research for a myriad of organizations including IBM Global Services, International Council of Shopping Centers, Direct Marketing Association Educational Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
