NM Smith Agency LLC – American Family Insurance is looking for a motivated, personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team. We are a relationship-focused agency serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Southern Arizona.

 This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and helping clients understand how to properly protect what they’ve worked hard to build.

Responsibilities

 Generate and follow up with prospective clients through agency leads, referrals, networking, and outbound calls.
 Quote and sell auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other insurance products.
 Identify opportunities to bundle policies and better protect client households.
 Conduct insurance reviews and explain coverage options in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
 Build long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.
 Follow up consistently with leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
 Meet individual and agency sales goals.
 Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
 Participate in agency marketing, networking, and community outreach.
 Maintain accurate client information and follow all company and insurance regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

 We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, coachable, dependable, and comfortable talking with people. Previous sales or insurance experience is helpful, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are extremely important.

 An Arizona Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered if they are willing and able to obtain the required licensing.
